Talya Tibbon is an award-winning documentary film and television director, producer, and writer. Over the years Talya has worked in 4 continents, documenting street gangs, drug dealers and users and the effect of the legalization of marijuana on them, mass shooters and those who survive their crimes, women trafficked in some of the most dangerous parts of Central America, refugees fleeing war on their journey across the Balkans and those who start settling in in Europe, as well as former Guantanamo detainees setting out on a new path, Wall Street traders during the 2008 financial crisis, and dare-devil ice swimmers in Siberia. She has interviewed Nobel Prize winners to get to the roots of the financial crisis, Rumsfeld, Cheney and Giuliani (among others) about decision-making during 9/11, Obama’s top security and intelligence advisors about capturing and killing Osama bin Laden and Julian Assange on how growing up in the shadow of the Cold War led to the creation of WikiLeaks. Talya is currently in the early production of a film about her father. Her most recent film- Amanpour – on Sex and Love in Berlin, will air on CNN Originals in early 2018.


Joshua Bennett has over 15 years experience working in film and television production, and has produced shoots in over 35 countries and on all 7 continents. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Show of Force, a New York-based media company, where he produced the award winning TV series and transmedia campaign Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide with Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, and the follow up series A Path Appears. He recently produced Soundbreaking, an 8-hour PBS series on the history of recorded music in partnership with legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin, and the CNN series Soundtracks with Dwayne Johnson. In addition, he’s produced programming for HBO, MTV, Discovery, A&E and The Sundance Channel and has won Television Academy Honors Awards, The Peabody Award, and multiple Emmy and Real Screen awards. Joshua is currently producing a film on the global eradication of polio with Rotary International. Plus, he recently completed a groundbreaking global media campaign in support of women and girls with USAID and The World Bank. He is a passionate advocate for the power of media to inspire positive social change and is committed to telling stories that give voice to people who are actively working to support vulnerable populations across the globe.


Show of Force, founded in 2006 by veteran film and television producers Maro Chermayeff and Jeff Dupre, creates award-winning feature documentaries, event television series, and groundbreaking transmedia projects. Our current series includes Humanity On The Move, a three-film initiative focusing the global refugees crisis including the feature documentary Sky & Ground, premiering in fall 2017. For CNN original productions they produced and directed Soundtracks: Songs That Defined History, in partnership with Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions. Recent projects include the Emmy-nominated Soundbreaking: Stories From the Cutting Edge of Recorded Music, an 8-part series created in partnership with the legendary Beatles’ producer Sir George Martin and premiered on PBS in November 2016, and We The Voters, a slate of 20 short films and an accompanying impact campaign that offered a fresh perspective on democracy, politics, and US governance in the run up to the 2016 Presidential Election.
